Friesland – The table tennis women from TuS Sande returned to the top of the state league table with a 9-1 win against SuS Rechtsupweg. The men of MTV Jever II are on the lookout after their 9-1 win against league leaders SG Orcas Oldenburg.

Women’s national league

The TuS Sande team needed 90 minutes to return to the top of the table. During this period, the Sander women defeated newly promoted SuS Rechtsupweg with 9:1 points.

The victory was also so clear because the TuS once again competed with the best line-up. This time Anke Black rotated with Susanne Meyer. Eight three-set wins illustrate the difference in performance. Only Martina Krieger lost somewhat unfortunately with 7:11, 8:11, 9:11. For TuS the doubles were Fengler/V. Black and Meyer/ Krieger successful. Meike Fengler (3:0, 3:0), Vanessa Black (3:0, 3:1), Susanne Meyer (3:0, 3:0) and Martina Krieger (3:0) scored points in the singles.

TuS top player Meike Fengler now leads the relay rankings with 8-0 wins.

Men’s National League

The 9:1 success of the second team from MTV Jever against table leaders SG Orcas Oldenburg, who played without their top player Felix Sven Barrenschee, was clearly clear in terms of results, but it was not the case during the two and a half hour game time in view of the six five-set games won by MTV II. Games quite exciting.

First, the third MTV doubles team, Kohlrautz/Hesslau, won 3-2. In the first individual round, Hendrik Hicken, Christian Hinrichs, Patrick Kohlrautz, Maximilian Hesslau and Janto Rohlfs each won after five sets. The MTV top doubles Hicken/Janek Hinrichs, as well as these two players, completed the victory with clear three-set victories.

Since newly promoted TV Friedeburg won three games at the same time, there will be a duel between the two teams with no lost points on Saturday in the sports hall of Mariengymnasium Jever from 4 p.m.
