JetBlue will increase daily frequency on the New York-Guayaquil-New York route from August | Ecuador | News

The aircraft with which the flights will be carried out has a capacity of 200 people.

The Ministry of Tourism announced that from August 7, JetBlue airline will increase a daily frequency on the route that covers New York-Guayaquil-New York.

With this weekly increase, the airline will operate with four frequencies on the Fort Lauderdale – Quito – Fort Lauderdale route, seven frequencies in Fort Lauderdale -Guayaquil – Fort Lauderdale and fourteen frequencies on the New York – Guayaquil – New York route.

Until last May there had been 106,545 departures to the United States for tourism.

The flights will be made with an Airbus A321 aircraft that has a capacity for 200 passengers.

“With this, Ecuador’s connectivity with the United States, the country’s main source market for tourists, is increased, with the consequent opportunity to boost the reactivation of tourism,” it was stated. (I)
