JetBlue Launches New Direct Flight from New York to Paris CDG

The American low-cost airline JetBlue, begins today the operation of its new direct line between New York and Paris CDG, in France, its second line between North America and the European continent.

After opening its first direct line between New York and London in 2021, followed in 2022 by the line between Boston and London-Gatwick, the carrier has since Friday offered a daily flight between Paris and the Big Apple operated by Airbus A321neo LR that can accommodate 138 passengers, including 24 in a Mint Business class suite and 114 in Economy.

Unlike some low-cost operators, JetBlue offers a rather high-end service on board its aircraft, even in economy class (below).

The JetBlue passenger experience unfolds around a range of services offered free of charge. Meals, snacks and wifi service on board are thus offered in order to offer customers a level of service, modern and undoubtedly even superior to that of traditional companies.

Revolution at the front

While other operators also offer direct single-aisle flights between Europe and North America, such as La Compagnie and Air Transat in the A321LR or Air Canada in the B737 MAX, JetBleu is today the only operator to offer the comfort and privacy of a mini suite to upper class passengers.

Equipped with a sliding door, a large touch screen, and an armchair convertible into a flat bed, JetBlue’s Mint class is in itself a real small revolution on board a single-aisle, with a configuration in 1- 1 of 12 rows.
