The news arrived on the occasion of the last Air Show at Le Bourget 2023: the American company JetBlue announced its foray into the European market with a direct connection between New York and Paris. The first flight is scheduled for Thursday, June 29, 2023. With the arrival of this new destination, JetBlue intends to cut prices and thus challenge the traditional offer that has dominated this route for decades.
To gain a place in this very competitive market, the company will operate daily flights aboard the Airbus A321 Long Range. This platform offers widebody aircraft capability with single-aisle aircraft ergonomics (see video above).
For travelers, two completely different flight experiences will be offered. The first, entitled “Mint”, is a Business class aimed at a rather wealthy clientele. It offers 24 “suites” on board. The second, called “Core”, is more intended for passengers wishing to travel in economy class.

Not so advantageous fares for a Paris-New York flight?
Ticket prices vary depending on the class chosen by the traveler, and it should be noted that JetBlue ultimately offers relatively similar fares to those of other airlines operating this route. Tickets for the Paris-New York flight are now on sale, with fares starting from 439 euros round trip in Core class and from 1740 euros in Mint class (Business).
