Mayor Jesús Nava Rivera highlighted the achievements of the Citizen Movement in Santa Catarina.
During his attendance at the event organized by Movimiento Ciudadano to build an agenda on industrial development, the Municipality highlighted the growth that Santa Catarina has had in terms of foreign investment.
“Today Nuevo León, today Santa Catarina are placed in the eyes of the world. We have to keep up with this international policy,” said the mayor, who requested permission from the municipal administration to attend the event without pay.
He pointed out that the installation of a Tesla plant in Santa Catarina was achieved with the management of Governor Samuel, citing an initial investment of 5 billion dollars.
In addition, Nava Rivera stressed that this represents five times more than what has been invested in the last ten years in the city.
“This results in a series of actions, commitments, the integration of work groups and panels like this one,” he said.
In this emecista forum, whose headquarters was Santa Catarina, were present Dante Delgado, national leader of MC; Senators Jorge Álvarez and Noé Castañón, as well as federal deputies Ivonne Ortega, Andrés Pintos, and Arturo Bonifacio de la Garza.
Likewise, executives of companies in the entity attended.
