In addition to the Provincial Council elections, the water board elections are also scheduled for Wednesday 15 March. Many political parties are making their positions known these weeks, including Jesus Lives. The political party believes, among other things, that everyone should be able to walk on water.
“In the future, the sea will come over the dikes, so it is useful if everyone can walk over them,” says party leader Florens van der Spek. “Let it be clear: for us this point is non-negotiable. This is a promise that we make to our constituents and that we will keep. We always say this: we are not left, not right, but straightforward.”
The party also says that it will also advocate that in the future enough drinking water will remain available to turn into wine.
