Personal development for collective happiness… This is Jessy Camus’ leitmotif. Born and domiciled in Montluçon (Allier), she has just released her first book, PS: today I have an appointment with myself.
The concept of the book
“I started from the observation that we don’t know each other”, recounts this 38-year-old Bourbonnaise, who works as a liberal as an advisor to family caregivers, a personal development advisor, but also a facio-cranial reflex therapist.
“When I ask the people I work with what their priority in life is, they answer a whole host of things, especially their children… but never themselves. You can’t take good care of others if you don’t take care of yourself first. »
Jessy Camus (author)
Then to spin a metaphor: “I often tell parents that they are bottles of water, their children are glasses… And that you can’t fill the glass if the bottle itself is dry”.
What you find there
That’s why, in this book of just 109 pages, there is everything you need to open the floodgates of positive autosuggestion. Namely: “Advice, small practical exercises, and diagrams relating to all stages of life”, list Jessy Camus. “You have to be active and have a pen while reading, because you are working on yourself and who says work says participation”.
But not stubbornness. “No, this is a first step towards personal development, accessible to all”, concludes the author, who would like to thank “my daughters and my friends” for their support in this project.
