Jessica Iskandar and Vincent Verhaag are suing IDR 50 billion pages in all

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Defamation Trial Jessica Iskandar and Vincent Verhaag with a businessman with the initials CSB, still pending in the South Jakarta District Court.

In that case, Jessica Iskandar and Vincent Verhaag were the defendants, while CSB was the plaintiff.

At the hearing on Wednesday (7/12/2022), CSB filed a lawsuit against Jessica Iskandar and Vincent Verhaag.

“In the application, we determined the confiscation of property or assets belonging to the first defendant (Jessica Iskandar) and the second defendant (Vincent Verhaag),” Togar Situmorang said when he met after the trial in South Jakarta on Wednesday (7/12 / 2022).

Togar Situmorang then explained his client’s request in material terms.

“One is in the form of land and the building on it which is located at Jalan Burangrang No. 8 Pasar Manggis Setiabudi, South Jakarta,” Togar said.

“The two assets are in the form of land and the residential building which is located at Perum Cangu Permai Selamat Gang Tempekan 5 Block D 23 Cangu Denpasar, Bali,” he continued.

Togar stressed that this lawsuit cannot be underestimated because it has officially entered the court.

“The value we are asking for (intangible) is around IDR 50 billion in civilian terms,” Togar said.

Previously, Jesssica Iskandar and CSB had mediated but it was declared a bankruptcy.

Vincent Verhaag and Jessica Iskandar’s attorney, Rolland E Potu, said the reason for the failure was because both sides failed to meet the terms of the peace proposal.

For information, Jessica Iskandar admits that she was a victim of fraud and embezzlement which caused her to lose up to IDR 9.853 billion.

The value of the loss is a total of 11 cars that he rented to Steffanus at his company.

Jessica Iskandar reported the incident to Polda Metro Jaya on 15th June 2022.

The complaint is registered under number LP/B/2947/VI/2022/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA pursuant to art. 378 of the criminal code and/or of the art. 372 of the criminal code.
