New York (AP) – The company “The Honest Company”, co-founded by Hollywood star Jessica Alba (40), celebrated a successful premiere on the Nasdaq tech stock exchange.
The price of the shares, which were traded for the first time under the ticker “HNST” on Wednesday, was $ 21.22, well above the issue price of $ 16. The company, which specializes in baby and beauty products, initially achieved a valuation of around 1.9 billion dollars (1.6 billion euros).
The actress Alba (“Sin City”) co-founded the Los Angeles company in 2011 and is its main advertising medium. The company raised $ 413 million when it went public.
