Jesse Tyler Ferguson (47) and her husband Justin Mikita (37), have become parents for the second time, via surrogacy.
The happy news was shared by the ‘Modern Family’ star herself, in an Instagram post.
– Sad to be away from my family @takemeoutbway tonight, but we ran off to welcome our new little Sullivan Louis Ferguson-Mikita, writes the actor below his newborn son’s photo.
The Instagram post also contains a photo of the new parents of two children, holding the baby.
Later in the post, Ferguson thanks the healthcare team and the surrogate.
– Special thanks to @drshahinghadir for helping us grow our family, our amazing surrogate and all the nurses and doctors. We are delighted to be a family of four.
The actor goes on to say that he won’t be attending the next two performances of his Broadway show, Take Me Out, to spend time with his family.
The couple already have one son, Beckett Mercer Ferguson-Mikita, who was born in July 2020.
Ferguson is best known for his role as Mitchell in the popular TV series Modern Family, and Mikita is a lawyer. The couple got engaged in Mexico in September 2012 after dating for two years. In 2013, they got married in New York.
