Jesse Lingard has apparently made his final decision on his future at Manchester United.
Manchester United had denied Jesse Lingard the transfer release in January, now the home-grown player is likely to move on for free. According to information from transfer expert Nicolo Schira, Lingard will not extend his expiring contract and will leave his training club after 22 years.
Because he hardly ever plays under interim coach Ralf Rangnick, Lingard wanted to leave United in January and thus bring in a small fee for the English record champions. Rangnick had not granted the request.
According to Schira, Lingard has received numerous offers, and West Ham United and Newcastle United are potential buyers from the Premier League. In addition, the 29-year-old is said to have been offered to AC Milan and AS Roma. Lingard’s best season at Manchester was under now-Roma coach Jose Mourinho.
