The Donna 2000 Forza Rosa Jesolo e Litorale ODV association, on the occasion of the month of October dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer, organizes the “October in Pink” series of events.
The program includes:
Thursday 17 October at 4pm, in the Tiepolo Hall of the Kursaal, the conference “Pink Event: Prevention, Treatment and Rehabilitation of Breast Cancer and Female Tumors”.
Friday 18 October, at 8.30 pm, in the church of San Giovanni Battista the A.Ve.Cor. Female Vocal Ensemble. presents the concert Gloria by Vivaldi Rv 589, one of the first vocal compositions of sacred music composed by Vivaldi for the choir of the Ospedale della Pietà in Venice, a girls’ orphanage, considered a masterpiece of sacred music, exuberant and full of character.
An Open Day with short outrigger canoe excursions is planned for Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th October, on the occasion of the Autumn Festival. It will therefore be possible to try the OC6 Polynesian canoe for free for psycho-physical rehabilitation at the pier along the Sile river. Furthermore, a fundraiser will be open at the stand of the Donna 2000 Forza Rosa association.
Finally, on Wednesday 23 October, there will be a solidarity ride in support of the Donna 2000 Forza Rosa Jesolo and Litorale ODV Association. A day of fun and solidarity on a quiet route of about 30km suitable for everyone, along the streets of the Jesolano coast, with the contribution of Paolo Guida Bike.

Furthermore, as a sign of the participation of the Municipality of Jesolo in the awareness campaign, the façade of the library and the “Jesolo” sign in Piazza Drago will be lit up in pink.
