Jerusalem attack: Israeli shot dead, Palestinian perpetrator too

Last Wednesday there was also an attack in Jerusalem. Then two agents of the Border Police were slightly injured in a knife attack. The perpetrator, a 16-year-old Palestinian, was shot dead.

The Temple Mount, on which the Al Aqsa Mosque is located, is a sacred site for both Muslims and Jews. It is regularly restless. The hill is located in the eastern part of Jerusalem, which was conquered by Israel in 1967. The Israelis consider all of Jerusalem their capital. For the Palestinians, East Jerusalem is the capital of their future state.
