After 55 days imprisoned in the El Rodeo prison, Jerónimo Gil finally gave statements in an interview conducted by the journalist Luis Olavarrieta.

The Venezuelan journalist, through his social networks, shared the link of the actor’s first interview after what happened.
Olavarrieta begins the interview by pointing out a preview of the actor and his actions that led him to spend 55 days in prison.
Gil revealed that he currently feels “full of many emotions, grateful for the family support”.
“Grateful for what I saw, for what I learned, for what I felt, for what I discovered, for what I accepted, for what I lived, despite being where I was.”
Regarding what happened at the disco last year, Gil indicated that it is not known “regretful“, believes that “it was a learning«.
«I wasn’t doing well, I wasn’t doing well“, assured the actor.
He also indicated that he was undergoing strong emotional processes for a year before the events.

Gil pointed out that this is due to an anger problem, he does not believe it is an alcohol issue, although «it may affect you when you ingest it«.
But he did reiterate that it is not a drug problem since he had several tests done throughout the process and he was always healthy in that regard.
Regarding anger, Gil reports that it is something very «rooted at the family level, for being from a strong family from the east of the country«.
He is working on her with yoga and psychological therapy two and three times a week.
Regarding the cause of his anger, he replies that it is about different factors but above all “misdirected emotions«.
The actor assures that the moral of this process is not to evade problems, you have to face them and seek help if necessary.
As a public figure who owes himself to society and does not enjoy full privacy, he respects and understands the strong opinions received by the public.

During his days in prison he asked God for discernment to turn his process into light and learn from it.
Regarding what happened at the Eco nightclub in El Rosal, Gil denies having had any mishap or having messed with a woman.
“When I like a woman I’m not so invasive”, “I don’t know what happened there when they said that”.
However, he admits he doesn’t remember exactly what happened, he doesn’t even remember how he got home the next day.
Jerónimo Gil was accused of the crimes of illegal carrying of a firearm, operating a weapon in a public space.
For these two crimes, he pleaded guilty and served 55 days in prison in the Rodeo II prison, known for being disciplined, with a greater regime and control.
He was also charged with minor injuries and attempted murder but pleaded not guilty and there was no evidence to the contrary.
Currently Gil is not allowed to leave the country or Caracas, since he has a monthly filing regime for a year, in addition to community service.
