The news was made official this Monday, November 23 in the evening. Jérôme Monier, member until then of the staff of the Pro 2 group at the Stade de Reims, who plays in National 2, has signed up with Dijon FCO. He was appointed first assistant to David Linarès, who succeeded Stéphane Jobard at the head of the first team (Ligue 1) in early November.
He had a year and a half contract left in Reims but an agreement was reached with the DFCO to confirm his departure for Burgundy. A homecoming for the one who had already held the post of deputy in Côte-d’Or, between 2007 and 2012, alongside Patrice Carteron and Serge Romano. The native of Langres, 49, returned to the Stade de Reims in 2014, after wearing the stadium jersey between 1989 and 1992.
