Jérôme Bourne Branchu was appointed Academic Director of the National Education Services of the Rhône by decree of the President of the Republic dated June 16, 2023, announces a press release. He will take office on July 3, 2023.
He replaces Philippe Carrière, who has held this position since May 10, 2021 and has exercised his retirement rights.
Jérôme Bourne Branchu began his career in 1998 as a professor of philosophy at the Academy of Lille.
The educational policy of 1,057 schools, 168 colleges and 116 high schools
In 2007, he became a management staff, first as deputy headmaster in the Lyon academy, then as headmaster in the Dijon academy.
In 2015, he was appointed deputy academic director, at the direction of the departmental services of National Education of Pas-de-Calais.
Three years later, he joined the management of the departmental services of National Education of the Tarn, as academic director.
In September 2020, he took on the same functions within the management of the departmental services of National Education of Essonne.
Under the direct authority of the rector of the academy, Olivier Dugrip, Jérôme Bourne Branchu will now oversee the educational policy of the 1,057 schools, 168 colleges and 116 high schools in the Rhône department.
