Radio DJ Jeroen van Inkel will make his debut this year as one of the presenters of the Top 2000, Margriet van der Linden announced on Monday in the television program M.
Annemieke Schollaardt and Gijs Staverman are also behind the controls during the 21st edition of the ‘list of lists’. The three DJs were guests on the talk show to talk about the upcoming edition.
59-year-old Van Inkel, who has been with the radio station since October, finds it “incredibly fun” to work on it. “The joke is, with many of the songs in it, I was there when they first came on the radio,” says the DJ, who has been making radio for more than forty years now. “There is a lot of legendary music that is highly regarded by the people.”
Listeners can vote for their favorite songs from Tuesday December 1 to Monday December 7. The Top 2000 can be heard on NPO Radio 2 from Christmas Day.
