Presenter Jeroen Pauw will no longer be seen in the daily talk show from July On 1. A BNNVARA spokesperson says against The Telegraph that Pauw will present his last broadcast on 28 June.
Although Pauw will already stop on June 28, the program will continue until Sunday July 5, a spokesman for the NPO confirms to NU.nl. It is still unclear what will happen to the talk show afterwards.
So it is not yet certain whether On 1 can still be seen after 5 July, or whether a summer stop of the program will be introduced. The BNNVARA spokesperson does not exclude that Pauw will return to the program in the fall, should there be a second outbreak of the coronavirus.
Pauw joined on Sunday evenings several months after stopping his own talk show On 1 to work. The talk show in which the news is discussed was made every evening of the week from mid-March, due to the need for news in times of the corona crisis. Pauw takes care of the Sunday evenings together with Fidan Ekiz.
