Jermain Lens Recalls Ambiguous Times at Dynamo Kyiv During Ukrainian Conflict

Former Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Jermain Lens recalled in an interview
Sport Arena TV about the ambiguous times of stay in Ukraine.

– I played for Dynamo for two years. We became champions, won the Cup, the Super Bowl. It was a good period, I remember good events. When I arrived here, everything was fine. All in all, it was a great time and I enjoyed it. But six months later, the whole situation with the Crimea began, then the Donbass – and everything became completely different. We had to play 70% of the matches at home, we did not go to the east of Ukraine. It calmed us, the players, and we felt safe, – said, in particular, the Dutchman.
