So put Jeremy Doku on that list.
Yesterday, the lightning-fast wing attacker was given a long rest by coach Pep Guardiola in the match against Young Boys. It was not until minute 80 that Doku was allowed to make his appearance.
Yet the Red Devil managed to impress again. Immediately after coming on as a substitute, Doku almost gave an assist. In addition to 7 duels won, there were also 6 successful dribbles.
That successful number is extremely impressive in just fifteen minutes.
By comparison, since September 2021, only City teammate John Stones has managed to successfully complete every dribble – if the total was higher than 5 – during a Champions League match.
The defender completed his 7 pieces in a span of ninety minutes in the final against Inter.
Doku’s great performances at City also made playing bird Jack Grealish think.
