Indie pop band Jeremias inspires at the opening concert
The Hanoverian indie pop band Jeremias started this year’s tour in Potsdam with a brilliant performance. In front of around 4,000 visitors on the open-air stage of the Waschhaus Potsdam, which has been sold out for weeks, the band thrilled on Saturday evening with old songs like “Green Eyes Don’t Lie” or “It’s Okay”, but also with previously unreleased songs. With his charismatic voice and melodic disco funk, the young singer Jeremias Heimbach – who also gave the band its name – captivated the audience. The band – which states its average age at around 20 years – caused screaming attacks among some female fans.
