The Seoul Jongno Police Department announced on the 26th that it applied charges of property damage to Jeon on the 18th and sent it to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office. Jeon, who lives in a detached house in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, is known to have had friction with his neighbors, saying,’The view of his house was infringed by the construction that raised the roof of the next house by about 1m. Then, in September of last year, Mr. Jeon was arrested by the police on charges of throwing a beam at the door of a neighbor’s house.
However, in an interview with E-Daily last month, Mr. Jeon argued, “I haven’t thrown a beam at my neighbor’s house,” and “I was angry and threw loose stones, but that wasn’t right for anyone.”
It is reported that Mr. Jeon made a statement with the effect of “throwing a stone, not a flag,” even in a police investigation.
