Watch the video at the top of Jens Petter Hauge arriving at Malpensa Airport on Tuesday afternoon.
Early Tuesday morning, Jens Petter Hauge boarded the plane that took him from Bodø to Gardermoen. A new plane was waiting there, and now the technical winger has landed in Milan.
Hauge remained silent as he was transported out of the airport by two AC Milan representatives.
As TV 2 experienced on Monday night there are still some formalities left before Hauge can call himself an AC Milan player.
On Wednesday, he will undergo the medical test and according to the plan sign the contract that makes him a teammate with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
According to TV 2, AC Milan want to take Jens Petter Hauge with them on the trip to Portugal, where the club will meet Rio Ave in a playoff match for the Europa League group stage on Thursday.
TV 2 has been informed by sources that Bodø / Glimt receives more than NOK 50 million for the Bodø boy.
Hauge’s agent, Atta Aneke, was already in Milan on Monday, and is said to have negotiated the personal terms.
– He has already proven that he can withstand the pressure on the San Siro
It was a large press corps that received Hauge at Malpensa airport. One of them was sports journalist in Telecalcio 24, Michael Cuomo.
– We are very excited. He was an unknown player to us, before we saw him at the San Siro. He was a dangerous opponent for Milan, created chances and scored a fantastic goal. Milan had trouble and this young player excelled, says Cuomo and continues:
– We have read up on the player, and now hope that Milan has discovered a really great player. We hope he can stand the meeting with Milan, and the supporter group who are impatient and expect results. He has already proven that he can withstand the pressure on the San Siro.
Traveled from Bodø Tuesday morning
Before Hauge started his trip to Italy on Tuesday, he took the time to answer some questions from TV 2’s reporter. There he also confirmed that he had spoken with the sports manager and club legend of AC Milan, Paolo Maldini.
– It is clear that it is an incredibly large club. Now that the things here have become a reality in recent days, it’s clear that it’s big. I feel it is achievable to play for that Milan team.
The Bodø / Glimt wing told TV 2 at the airport in Bodø on Tuesday morning.
– It will be exciting to see what the next few days bring. I hope we get this in place now. It was right for all parties. It’s a step I felt I was ready to take. I just have to thank Glimt for the cooperation we have had in recent days, said the 20-year-old.
