Jenny Holzer : Gentle Line and Guggenheim

This exhibition presents a reimagining of Jenny Holzer’s landmark work on the Guggenheim in 1989. Climbing the six ramps of the rotunda designed by Frank Lloyd Wright to the roof of the constructing, the set up that site-specific transforms the constructing with a show of scrolling texts, together with picks from his iconic collection, reminiscent of “Truisms” and “Inflammatory Essays.”

Gentle Line illuminates how the written phrase is used over time and media in Holzer’s apply.
