A big scare for Jennifer Lawrence and the entire film crew Don’t Look Up directed by Adam McKay. While the actress was shooting one of the scenes of the film in a restaurant, facing Timothée Chamalet, she was the victim of an incident which led her straight to the hospital. One of the windows of the establishment was supposed to explode, but this action scene did not go as planned at all. According to TMZ which reveals the incident, pieces of glass were thrown on the actress who was injured in the face, very close to the eye. “ Jennifer’s eyelid was cut off and the blood kept flowing », Writes TMZ.
Transported to hospital for treatment, Jennifer Lawrence would be fine according to the US media even if the incident deeply shocked the film crew. Filming was suspended for the day while the star was treated and everyone came to their senses. This is not the first time that the American actress has faced an incident of this magnitude during a shoot. For example, she had perforated her eardrum while filming Hunger Games – Catching Fire of Francis Lawrence and she also suffered a broken rib on the plateau of Mother by Darren Aronofsky.
