The old concept of human education must be filled with life again. It wasn’t that long ago that the 25-year-old from Engeran graduated from high school in Herford, and two of her siblings are still going to school. “I notice that young people lack energy and zest for life. You just move between Netflix and the game console, ”she says. “There are studies that show the majority of students say they hate school,” she says. “Education is a privilege!” What goes wrong when so many young people are reluctant to learn and withdraw to the Internet instead of meeting analogously and getting involved in their goals, asks Jenni Lalk.
