Jennifer Garner feels the pressure of wanting to make sure she’s doing what’s best for her kids at all times, especially when it comes to feeding them something you can feel good about.
“Moms are faced with how hard it is,” says Garner, co-founder and brand ambassador for organic food company Once Upon a Farm. “We just want to make life easier for them, and give them food they can trust that they don’t have to worry about.”
While at the launch of her company’s new refrigerated oat bars, Garner, 51, told PEOPLE that she has a hard time feeding her children junk foods, especially knowing all the metals and microplastics that are often found in the soil in which our food is grown. According to the website People.
“I’m not really comfortable with that,” says Garner, mother of Violet (17 years old), Seraphina (14 years old), and Samuel (11 years old). That’s why it was so important for Once Upon a Farm to launch these boards that… “Parents can trust it, they can feel good knowing they are giving their kids something nutritious, no sugar, no preservatives, something clean and non-GMO.”
“These products make our lives easier,” Garner added. “They have all the great ingredients and we hope your kids get to them first, and then at least they’ll know they have something real that’s nutritious and tastes good in their bodies.”
