Jenni Hermoso revealed new information about the day-to-day life of the Spanish women’s team. The player involved in the controversial kiss with Luis Rubiales, former president of the Spanish Football Federation, in the 2023 World Cup final, spoke about Jorge Vilda’s behavior, former selector who was fired following the case.
“When we went to sleep we had to leave the door open, wait for him (Jorge Vilda) to come in at night and let him talk to us. He said it was the only time he could talk to us in person. If he knocked on the doors of the first players, until the last one arrived, perhaps some would end up falling asleep”, said Jenni Hermoso in an interview with the Spanish program ‘Planeta Calleja’, which will be made available in full on Monday. “When we went shopping, he (Jorge Vilda) waited for us and asked us what we were carrying in our bags”, the player who plays in Mexico also revealed.
Remember that Luis Rubiales was suspended for three years by the Administrative Sports Court of Spain for serious infractions.
