Jenni Haukio has been elected chairman of the church’s Cultural Affairs Advisory Board.
The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland informs that the Church Board, which administers the joint administration, has established a Cultural Affairs Advisory Committee to promote the visibility of the church’s cultural sector and networking in the field of cultural activities as a partner.
Dr. Jenni Haukio has been elected chairman of the church’s Advisory Board for Cultural Affairs. There are 10 other cultural influencers involved in the consultation council. Among them are Rosa Meriläinen and Hannu-Pekka Björkman.

The release emphasizes the church’s role as a cultural actor in various cultural fields. The church has a part in Finland’s musical life, performing arts, literature and visual arts.
Haukio’s work patterns were already reported earlier this year. In August, he started working as the responsible director of public relations at Kustannusosakeyhtiö WSOY. The matter was announced in May.
