Jenner helps the Blue Jackets achieve their first win in six games

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Boone Jenner scored two goals as the Blue Jackets took their first win in six games Thursday, losing the Philadelphia Flyers 5-2.

Johnny Gaudreau scored one goal and two assists.

Zach Werenski and Nick Blankenburg also scored for the Blue Jackets, which hadn’t won since 23 October.

Joonas Korpisalo made 32 saves, beaten by Ivan Provorov and Tony DeAngelo.

Carter Hart has blocked 24 shots.

Columbus led 3-0 after Jenner’s first goal of the game, in the first minute of the second period.

Jenner completed the scoring on an empty net, scoring his fourth goal of the season.

The flyers will host the Ottawa Senators on Saturday, starting at 1pm.
