After all that experience and worldwide recognition, you would think the actress would no longer get nervous.
Jenna Ortega was already no stranger to the film and television world, but since her debut in the Netflix hit Wednesday, her stardom has reached great heights. However, that does not mean that all that fame makes her indifferent.
The actress revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that she was terrified about returning for a second season of Wednesday, especially since so much time had passed since filming the first season.
Get over it quickly
Ortega explained that she was nervous because it had been years since the first season was filmed in Romania. She said, “We did that about two or three years ago, so I really didn’t know how to approach it.”
She continues: “I was probably thinking too much. But once you put on Colleen Atwood’s costumes, get your hair and makeup done, and take all the expression out of your face, you’re like, ‘Oh, OK. I know how to do this.'”
More than just an actress
She was of course the big star of the first season, but in the next chapter Ortega will also work as a producer. She indicates that she enjoys this very much and likes to be able to decide more for herself.
