The renowned actress Jenna Fischerof The Officeannounced that was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was through her official Instagram account where the artist, famous for playing Pam Beesley in the popular series, made her followers aware of her condition.

According to Jenna, it was last December when the doctors he was diagnosed with cancer stage 1 triple positive breast cancer. The actress kept this situation a secret and it was during all this time that she underwent heavy chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

“October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I never thought I’d make an announcement like this, but here we are. Last December, I was diagnosed with stage 1 triple positive breast cancer.. After completing surgery, chemotherapy and radiation I am now cancer free.

The beloved actress detailed that last October 2023 she underwent her routine mammogram, but that was when something was detected in her left breast.

“After the inconclusive results of that mammogram due to the density of breast tissue, my doctor ordered a breast ultrasound. They found something in my left breast. A biopsy was ordered. Then on December 1, 2023, I found out I had breast cancer triple positive in stage 1″.

Cancer free

Jenna began chemotherapy in February of this year, a weekly plan that lasted 12 rounds followed by three weeks of radiation, which began in June. Now, the actress is cancer-free.

“While I continue to receive treatment with Herceptin infusions and a daily dose of tamoxifen, I am pleased to say that I feel very well. Many thanks to Angela Kinsey’s husband, Josh Snyder, for taking this photo. “It’s just an example of the care they showed me during this trip,” he concluded.
