“Jeju United Secures 3rd Place in K League with 5th Straight Win over Suwon FC”

Jeju United (hereafter referred to as Jeju) beat Suwon FC and jumped to 3rd place in the league with a 5-game winning streak.

Jeju won a 5-0 win over Suwon FC in the 13th round of the ‘Hanawon Q K League 1 2023’ held at Suwon Sports Complex at 7:00 pm on the 14th.

With the victory on this day, Jeju secured 23 points with 7 wins, 2 draws and 4 losses along with 5 consecutive wins in the league, and moved up to 3rd place, ahead of Pohang with the same score on many points.

Jeju threw the winning number from the beginning of the game. In the 11th minute of the first half, Kim Dae-hwan and Kwak Seung-min were removed and Kim Joo-gong and Hayes were replaced. Jeju scored the first goal in the 42nd minute. Lim Chae-min, who participated in the attack, received a penalty kick from Shinsegae, and Seo Jin-soo, who started as a kicker, finished it lightly.

In the 23rd minute of the second half, Seo Jin-soo received a cross from Hays on a corner kick chance and scored an additional goal with a sensational shot.

Jeju, who seized the victory, continued to drive Suwon FC. Ahn Tae-hyun in the 32nd minute and Kim Joo-gong in the 38th minute scored consecutively.

The end of the victory was taken by Yuri, who was replaced. With the help of Seo Jin-soo, Yuri scored the fifth goal.
