Jeffery Nichol started taking religious studies. However, it is said that this was not done by the actor for camouflage.
The star of the film Dear Nathan was seen coming to a religious study which was attended by many motorbike gangs. They named it Bikers Da’wah.
Ustaz Alfie Alfandy, as a friend, emphasized that Jefri Nichol had come several times to take part in religious studies together. He still remembers the first moment Jefri arrived.
“Yes, it’s only been three days, two or three days,” said Alfie when met in the Warung Buncit area, South Jakarta.
“He first came with a motorbike, followed by a white jacket. We immediately welcomed him,” he continued.
Ustaz Alfie Alfandy explained that no one invited or asked Jefri Nichol to come. But it was all because of the wishes of the actor’s heart.
“I’ve only appeared twice. Recently, I’m comfortable being myself, no camouflage, no social media, no this or that, just playing as a regular stall hangout,” explained Alfie.
“So maybe he’s comfortable there, okay, just like other friends are comfortable,” he continued.
Ustaz Alfie cannot confirm that Jefri Nichol has now emigrated. He just feels that everyone needs to learn and deepen knowledge, including religion.
“I don’t dare say that (migrating), I just wish you well,” he explained.
On the same occasion, Jefri Nichol was asked about starting to be religious. He revealed the reason why he recently took part in the study.
“I just want to gain knowledge. I’ve done this twice (participated in the study),” concluded Jefri Nichol.
