Many countries, especially South Africa, have to increase measures to reduce water consumption.
That’s why the idea to block some of the light from the Sun was last year’s South African science It started to come up frequently with a research conducted by people.
Scientists at the University of Cape Town had devised a plan to protect water resources by releasing large amounts of sulfur dioxide gas into the atmosphere above the city and permanently ‘darkening’ the Sun.
It was stated that this plan would reduce the risk of water scarcity by 90 percent before 2100.
However, many experts opposed the idea of pumping gas into the atmosphere to reduce the effects of global warming. The idea was described as “dangerous interference with the climate system”.
