Eight-time Grammy winner and Rock Hall of Famer Beck offered several instrumentals from his rich career in the first half of the concert, before being joined by Depp on guitar and vocals after about fifty minutes to applause from the audience.

Dressed in a plain white T-shirt and gray pants, Beck offered the audience a few of his own compositions as well as cover songs, such as You Know You Know by Mahavishnu Orchestra or Stratus from Billy Cobham’s repertoire. “When I hear his great playing, when I get home I want to stomp on my guitar and let it play,” commented one of the listeners of the musician’s art, who was ranked by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time.

The arrival of Depp on the stage caused a great response, especially from the female part of the audience. Many of the women and girls present filmed the well-known actor on their mobile phones, and some of his biggest fans tried to sneak under the stage from the seats.

Depp, who alternated between acoustic and electric guitar in addition to singing, performed with Beck, among other things, the song Isolation, which they recorded together two years ago. As in his previous concert in 2014 on the terrace of the Jízdárny Prague Castle, Beck included the song A Day in the Life from the Beatles’ repertoire at the end of the performance. From his backing group, the famous musician left the most space to bassist Rhonda Smith.
