The Jeep Wagoneer S, the pinnacle of the electric range of this American brand, is to arrive with the aim of taking away some customers for cars like the BMW iX or Range Rover Sport. First, in 2024, it will appear on the market in the United States, for which it is designed, writes the British website Autocar. Subsequently, it should also reach the European markets.
In Britain at least, it is to round off Jeep’s range of seven electric models. The range on one charge should be 600 km, and the performance of the most powerful version should be roughly the same. With this, it should be able to sprint to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.5 seconds.
The technical basis of the car is to be the STLA Large platform, as with the recently approached Recon model. What its technology will look like in particular – and also the design, for now we are still looking at the concept illustrations – is not yet known.
