American carmaker Jeep has introduced the concept of the giant SUV Grand Wagoneer
-
The model, which was first produced in the 1960s, will offer a luxurious interior

There are a total of seven screens in the giant’s cabin, and a plug-in hybrid drive is planned
Jeep Wagoneer Americans have been associating with luxury for a long time. The carmaker has been producing it since the early 1960s. It was the largest model that was capable in the field, but at the same time offered comfort and prestige. Perhaps also thanks to the now bizarre wooden body trim. The Jeep Wagoneer was simply American similar to the Range Rover. And now it is clear that it will be again.
Jeep introduced the concept large SUV, which will not be very different from the future serial version of the Wagoneer. The car could hit the road next year with a very distinctive design. He wants to attract attention, for example, with a classic Jeep mask with seven holes, which will be supplemented by a line of diodes. They also shine on a giant bumper, which also adorns two forged eyes for the case of towing. The rear is dominated by the backlit Grand Wagoneer sign, so that it is clear even at night which car you have the honor with.
Jeepy Wrangler and Gladiator come in two opposite versions: rougher and more comfortable
But even more impressive is the cabin of the Wagoneer. It is dominated by a massive dashboard, on which you will find four displays. The basis is a screen in front of the driver showing basic operating data, in the middle you will find the display of the entertainment system, under which there is another for controlling the air conditioning and comfort functions. The passenger then has a display for himself, on which he can play his own media. The system will also allow him to play a movie, it will be hidden from the driver.
But passengers in the back seats will also get their money’s worth. Each seat has its own screen for playing media, in the middle between the seats is another display. Its function has not yet been specified by Jeep, but it can be estimated that it will be used to adjust the seats, air conditioning and other operating details for the rear passengers.
The new Jeep Wagoneer will probably share the platform with popular pick-up RAM 1500. Therefore, it can be assumed that not only the basic six-cylinder petrol engine will appear under its hood, but also a plug-in hybrid engine with a 5.7-liter V8, which will have an output of about 450 hp and 700 Nm of torque. The carmaker promises that the car will tighten a proper trailer, the game weighs up to four tons.
The novelty will become a competitor to the popular giant SUVs in the USA. For example, a Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon, Ford Expedition or Lincoln Navigator. The question is whether such a car will reach the European market, so far it seems unlikely. For enthusiastic applicants, however, it will definitely be available via gray imports.
