Jeep has modernized its Renegade model, focusing on the multimedia system and slightly reducing fuel consumption.
In the course of modernization, the Renegade received a redesigned front panel: the driver now has digital gauges with a 10.25-inch display, and the multimedia touch screen has grown to 10.1 inches in size. The manufacturer emphasizes that the screen of the multimedia system is not only 40 percent larger, but also provides five times faster operation, the system is compatible with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, is equipped with the voice assistant Amazon Alexa and supports wireless updates with the help of 4G Internet.
Jeep Renegade will still be available in the 1.5 Turbo e-Hybrid version, which develops 130 hp, as well as in the all-wheel drive 4xe plug-in hybrid version, endowed with 240 hp. The manufacturer reports that improved motor and battery performance, which combined with low rolling resistance tires for both variants, will reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to five percent.
The latest Jeep Renegade is already available for order in the European market. German auto news sources report that the price in their country starts at 30,800 euros.
