He points out that this debut opens a new page in the history of the Grand Cherokee, making cars more environmentally friendly and equipped with almost 380 hp two-way hybrid systems that allow only 40 kilometers of electric driving and three different driving modes – hybrid. , “electric” and “e-self” – will allow the car to move around the city with extremely low fuel consumption.
“This is the manufacturer’s second model after the new Wrangler with an electric drive system installed between the gearbox and the internal combustion engine,” says Mežoks.
The Grand Cherokee will be equipped with the next generation of four-wheel drive systems “Quadra Trac 1”, “Quadra Trac 2” and “Quadra Drive 2”, hydraulic intelligent suspension “Quadra Lift”, which allows you to lift the car up to 28.7 cm height and overcome water obstacles up to a depth of 61 cm. All models will be equipped with eight-speed automatic transmissions.
The new Grand Cherokee will debut in the market with several engine types: a two-liter four-cylinder engine with two turbines, a hybrid powertrain with an internal combustion and electric engine, as well as a more powerful version – the legendary V8 5.7-liter engine with 375 hp. The Grand Cherokee will also be equipped with a three-liter V6 petrol engine.
Off-road vehicles will be equipped with modern security systems – video cameras, obstacle sensors, traffic control system, pedestrian detection system, lane keeping system and night vision cameras. There are also special multimedia solutions – a 25.4 cm touch screen on the front to control the car’s operation, two 25.6 cm screens on the rear, Apple Car Play and Android Audio functions, wireless charging of mobile devices, Wi-Fi connection and 17 McIntosh audio system speakers. The interior of the cars is made of leather, aluminum and wood.
