Why didn’t the pair of the most luxurious models in the offer get the brand’s logo? Well, because they don’t need him.

The recently introduced pair of Jeep flagship models, the Wagoneer and the more luxurious Grand Wagoneer, boasted a lot of interesting things. From the record space in the cab, through the number of screens, V8 engines, robust technology or great skills in towing heavy loads. However, both models lack one detail.
Even with a detailed look at their body, you will not find a Jeep symbol anywhere, which may seem quite striking at first glance. The Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models should symbolize the brand’s return to the large and premium SUV segment, so why not show your logo?

Cristian Meunier, CEO of Jeep, answered this question during a recent interview with MotorTrend magazine. According to him, the pair of new models simply do not need the carmaker’s logo, because according to their distinctive design and iconic names Wagoneer / Grand Wagoneer, it must be clear to everyone which brand it is.
At first glance, perhaps a special approach, especially if we take into account Jeep’s efforts to break through with more models among the premium competition. However, the traditional manufacturer of SUVs and off-road vehicles is not the only one who has not placed its logo on the hood of well-known or iconic models. For example, on Mustangs and the new Bronc, you would also look in vain for a blue oval with the word Ford.

In addition, we must admit that neither Wagoneer nor Grand Wagoneer can be mistakenly assigned to another manufacturer. All you have to do is look at their bow with an iconic radiator grille and connected headlights – this is simply a combination that you just won’t see anywhere. And the stern is quite distinctive, which also boasts a clear inscription Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer.
