After two defeats in a row, and spaced a month apart, Dijon returned to victory in the Jeep Elite on the occasion of his trip to Roanne (81-91) in a late match on the 2nd day.
Dijon resumes its march forward. Defeated in Monaco in mid-November and then in Cholet last weekend, the JDA returned to victory on the occasion of the reception of Roanne in the last match of the 2nd day of Jeep Elite. A meeting that the Dijonnais started with a real single rider. During the first eight minutes, the players of the Choir scored only four points … against the trifle of 26 for the JDA which then counted 22 points in advance then saw the Roannais come back to fourteen lengths at the end of the first quarter time. Ronald March’s teammates (29 points), however, did not manage to come back closer during the second quarter, with a delay of 20 lengths at mid-distance.
Roanne finished strong … too late
Returning to the floor, Roanne accelerated again to return to fourteen lengths but, in the process, David Holston’s teammates (25 points) inflicted a 12-3 on their opponent to regain 23 points in advance. With a mattress of 19 points ten minutes from the end of the match, Dijon could see it coming … but probably let the Choir too much. Thanks to a 13-0, Roanne came back to seven lengths with just under two minutes to play. But the Dijonnais ended up tightening the game to win by ten lengths (81-91). A victory which allows the JDA to remain in fourth place when Roanne sees his series of two consecutive successes come to an end.
