The first baby of the year born at La Pocatière hospital is from Mont-Carmel, little Jeanne, daughter of Nicolas Lévesque and Andréanne Rioux.
The little one was born on January 4, at 3:54 a.m., at the Notre-Dame-de-Fatima Hospital in La Pocatière. At birth, she weighed 3290 grams (7 free and 4 ounces) and was 54 cm tall.
She is the couple’s first child. Expected for January 1, the child was made to wait a few days.
