Jean-Michel Blanquer, Minister of National Education, Youth and Sports, was the guest of Jean-Pierre Elkabbach, this Sunday, December 6 in the program Repères.
On the occasion of this interview, the Minister notably returned to the right to family education by asserting: “From the start, I indicated that there would be an exception system so that situations that can be appreciated allow home instruction ”.

The minister then briefly mentioned the incidents that occurred during demonstrations against the comprehensive security law, this Saturday, December 5 in Paris. He wanted to recall that “the objective which has been set from the start is clear: we must protect our police officers”, before adding, “I would even say more, we must protect our officials”.

He finally returned to the 800 incidents (17% for apologia for terrorism) listed by the Ministry of National Education during the tribute paid to Samuel Paty in schools. The Minister underlined the very “heterogeneous” nature of these reports. “There are small phenomena and serious things. For example, a parent of a student has been criminally prosecuted for the acts he committed, ”he explained.
