Moët Hennessy, the wine and spirits division of the LVMH group, has signed Jean-Martial Ribes, previously head of communications at Ligue 1 football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Ribes worked for Ketchum for more than 20 years, establishing the Paris office in 1994 and serving as the agency network’s Vice President of Europe Global Operations. From 2011 he headed the communications department of the investment company Qatar Sports Investments, whose boss Nasser Al-Khelaifi is PSG President. In 2017, Ribes was appointed Managing Director Communication at football club PSG, which has Lionel Messi under contract.
In his new role as VP Communication at Moët Hennessy, the 55-year-old will, among other things, take over the management of the central team for communication and events, which is currently still managed by Anne-Catherine Grimal, who wants to become self-employed as a communications consultant. Ribes will report to Philippe Schaus, Chairman and CEO of Moët Hennessy and will be a member of the Moët Hennessy Leadership Team.
