Jean Lucas was at Monaco (FRA)
Flamengo continues to move in the transfer window, and many clubs are taking the opportunity to do the same. Last Sunday (16), Santos announced the hiring of Jean Lucas, revealed in the youth teams of Rubro-Negro, who was in Monaco, France.
The 25-year-old has signed a four-year contract with Santos. Jean Lucas returns to the São Paulo club after four years in Europe. It is worth remembering that the midfielder was loaned to the team from Santos by Flamengo, during the first half of 2019.
After playing good football under the command of Jorge Sampaoli, Flamengo traded the athlete to Lyon, from France. In all, at the São Paulo club, Jean Lucas made 20 games and provided an assist in about five months.
In Europe, the midfielder played for Lyon, Brest (FRA) and Monaco. In the first season for the last mentioned club, between 2021 and 2022, he played 39 games, with two goals scored. However, the player did not get a sequel. Jean Lucas has not been on the field since October 27 last year.
