O Santos is looking for reinforcements in the ball market to get out of the situation it finds itself in the Brasileirão: Paulo Turra’s team is at the bottom of the table and lost 4-1 to São Paulo, last Sunday (16). And, in that sense, Peixe closed the signings of left-back Dodô, defensive midfielder Jean Lucas and Argentine striker Julio Furch.
This Wednesday (19), Santos presented Jean Lucas at Vila Belmiro. The 25-year-old player, who arrives at Alvinegro Praiano for his second spell at the Club, exposed his feelings for Peixe at the press conference. Despite having been revealed in Flamengo, he said he feels like a boy from the village and thanked the fans for their affection.
“I have an identity with Santos. I feel like a boy from the village, the fans hugged me, invaded my social networks. I am very happy with everyone’s affection, I was very well received at the club, by the players, by the people who work there. I do feel like a boy from the village and I am very happy with the affection he receives from everyone”, said the new number 8 for Santos.
Jean Lucas was in Monaco, France, but has not entered the field since October last year. The player, however, makes himself available to coach Paulo Turra to play next Sunday (23), against Botafogo, in Vila Belmiro, for the 16th round of the Brasileirão. But everything depends on his situation being regularized, since his name has not yet appeared on the CBF’s BID.
