In a message posted on Sunday August 16, 2020 on his account Instagram, Jean-Edouard Lipa reveals that he will have to undergo a major operation on the eve of his 40th birthday. In order to illustrate his message with a photograph, the former participant of Loft Story, who is now a recognized DJ, posted an x-ray of his legs.
Even those who are not specialists can immediately realize the seriousness of the condition of Jean-Edouard Lipa on this shot. “A month ago I was diagnosed with a 10 cm double aneurysm of the popliteal artery in my left leg which had already resulted in the obstruction of two of the three lower arteries” he indicated. We can indeed see on this X-ray that the blood circulation in his right leg is blocked at the level of his knee. “The consequences being pulmonary embolism or amputation of the leg” he also added.
Without surgery, Jean-Edouard Lipa risks losing his leg
“On September 25th, I will therefore be in the OR for 46 hours to try to repair this leg that I am so lacking” said the DJ. Very affected by the fate of Jean-Edouard Lipa, many Internet users have sent him messages of support, wishing him a good recovery after his future operation. As a reminder, the former candidate of Loft Story share the life of Deborah Bruni for 5 years now. Together, the couple gave birth to a baby girl named Victory in 2017.
