What is this region that “constitutes” Jean Dujardin and in which he has a house?
At 52, Jean Dujardin continues to write a great page in his acting career. But, fortunately, Nathalie Péchalat’s husband – according to the latest news despite the rumors – and father of little Jeanne and Alice, also knows how to take time for himself and his family. So, as soon as he can, he escapes to his villa located in Soulac-sur-Mer, near the Gironde estuary. Jean Dujardin, who also has two sons, Jules and Simon, born from his relationship with Gaëlle Demars, prefers to stay away from the star system.
A small town in the South-West in which he has all his memories. “This is the region where my maternal grandfather, who came from the Pyrenees, settled to buy a farm, I still have cousins here… I am full of memories in this region, it constitutes me…”he actually confided to the magazine Land of Wines in 2021.
And it’s up to him to continue: “It’s not for nothing that I chose to come back to the area; I had a house in the Gard for a while, then I came to Soulac because I love this coast so much”. And to conclude, a bit mockingly: “It’s funny because when we talk about the Médoc, people don’t always know how to locate it, and that’s just fine.”
