It is not at all unusual to see actors and other celebrities create their own alcohol companies or partner with them. Ryan Reynolds did it with Aviation Gin, Blake Lively with Betty Buzz, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul with Dos Hombres Mezcal, and now Jean-Claude Van Damme joins this list.
The actor and martial artist has founded and partnered with Old Oak Whiskey. We’re told Van Damme was the perfect celebrity to join the brand because “He embodies the strength, character and precision that are synonymous with Old Oak. His passion for perfection and attention to detail make him the perfect representative of our brand”.
At the moment, Old Oak produces two types of whiskey: one is an Irish whiskey aged for three years, while the second is a Jamaican rum reserve.
